Peer Groups update

Arlin Sorenson is a veteran in our industry and has built his company, Heartland Technology Solutions, into a powerhouse of a company – over 80 employees, and almost $20m in annual revenue. What’s more impressive is that he did so from his office that is in the farmyard where he grew up – in the middle of a corn field outside of a town of 5,000 people.

What’s even more impressive yet is how much Arlin gives back to the partner community. A few years ago he started HTG – Heartland Technology Groups. I’ve been privileged to be a part of HTG4 for almost 2 years now, and recently I was asked to step up and facilitate our group. It’s been a lot of work, but very rewarding in many ways – for my business, for me professionally, and perhaps surprisingly for me personally as well.

There is a great article from Redmond Channel Partner Magazine on the future direction of HTG, see below: http://rcpmag.com/news/article.aspx?editorialsid=10154

There’s a waiting list to become part of one of the future groups next year. But, if you are interested, I mean really interested, in investing in a peer group as well as growing your business, drop me a note; I might know someone who can put in a good word for you.
